Lily Discovers People are Like Donuts
Lily loves donuts…she also has a giant imagination. This delightful children’s story takes a trip into Lily’s imaginary world where her family and friends literally turn into donuts! Her dad is a crazy swirl donut, mom is a smart raspberry turnover, her friends are a variety pack full of many different shapes, colors and flavors. I used traditional ink to paper for the drawings, then added color digitally in Photoshop.
Even pirates need to listen
The captain tells each pirate which job to do. Some pirates pull up the anchor. Others raise the sails to move the ship. Some pirates swab the poop deck. What would happen if the pirates didn’t listen to the captain? These illustrations were digitally drawn in Photoshop.

Snapchat Parental Leave guide.
Snapchat was looking for a colorful way to present their Parental Leave plans to their employees. I was given brand guidelines and created “chillahs” (the little Snapchat ghost characters) based on their assets, then laid out their multi-page brochure in InDesign. Supa cute!
LIED Center Adventure Series Postcards.
The LIED Center asked us to design some postcards for their Adventure series events. These cards were sent out to patrons of the performing arts encouraging them to participate.
LIED Center, Eileen Ivers Valentine’s Day Performance Invitation.
Eileen Ivers is an American fiddler who has wowed audiences with her heart-warming sound for decades. But relatively unknown for her debut show at Lincoln’s LIED Center for Performing Arts, Archrival was asked to stir up ticket sales. With the show set on Valentine’s Day, we created a series of valentine’s cards that doubled as invites for spouses and special someone’s.
American Heart Association
American Heart Association teaches kids heart-healthy habits and how physical activities can be fun. They also emphasizes the importance of raising funds to support cardiovascular research and education. Every year AHA presents to schools across the US. The kids are empowered knowing they can helps save lives in their community and across the country. The presentation includes some fun and engaging characters with their own “super powers.”. We were asked to design the characters based off of some existing keychain figures.
Lowe’s Great Safety Adventure.
Home accidents are avoidable. When Lowe’s Home Improvement stores committed themselves to the important issue of home safety, they partnered with Archrival to create a platform and campaign to educate kids on how to spot safety hazards and what they should do about it. We created a cast of relatable characters who go on the Great Safety Adventure across American homes (on digital and IRL) to bring attention to this silent killer.
School of Fish
Remote learning, ZOOM classrooms and the children that did the best they could. We decided to make a coloring sheet for the kids stuck at home, while giving the parents a humorous nod to a less than ideal situation.
Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
LLS’s program; Pennies for Patients, connects schools with local blood cancer patients. We created a child friendly look into Leukemia and the heroes that fight against the disease. We created posters, a Power Point Presentation deck and other branded materials.
